Whatis The Difference Pusy

Encarnação do Demônio

  • Year: 2008

  • Country: Brazil

  • Director: Jose Mojica Marins

  • AKA: Embodiment of Evil - Coffin Joe 3

  • Version:
  • DVDRip
Synopsis: After spending 40 in prison for his crimes. Josefel Zanata "Zé do Caixao" is released and can now continue the search for the perfect woman for him a son.

Initial Impression: Ze Replay gives me great joy, especially to see more brutal than ever, but I feel something of the essence of character is lost.

Script and Development: been forty years after the events in A sua Levarei Meita-Noite soul and This Noite Encarnarei no Teu Cadaver ... and I worry, as I sit by Zé change from rural villages of Brazil in the 60's the urban Sao Paulo's modern? Zé Now
lives hidden in a favela, history has become a legend that has attracted some Boys Dark turning in his servants, while some of their victims, or their relatives, they plan to put an end to once and for all ... but the worst enemy of Ze are their own visions with their former victims and purgatory, which threaten to blow you away (more than it already is).

If gentlemen, this is Zé do Caixao, and the spirit of the old movies is there. The character is remain the same despite being much older and much, much more bloody ... and I loved every second of it ... peeeero, I also lost a lot of the essence of the character. First of all, the gore is triggered to incredible levels, even taking a scene from the book American Psycho not dare to get into the film, involving a rat and a woman's genitals. Yes, Zé tortured, but here we end worthy of Porno-torture, but can be justified by saying it has lost even more head to be locked up for so long. Second, it seems that it has become much more lax in their search for the perfect woman (perhaps because he feels is running out of time?) and I leave the last detail for "Reflections."

felt this way in feels like a Dario Argento film had he not lost his talent, exaggerated violence, morbid eroticism and a plot that does not always make sense. True, many sequences are there for aesthetic taste no more, while other important details are never really explained (someone please explain to me because this woman decided to approve the release of Ze ')

management and technical aspects: The gore looks impressive, Zé's lair is great, the costumes totally perfect (the way the Zé appearance at odds with everything else, the gothic-punk pints of his followers) and stunning scenery as the temple of witchcraft and purgatory are incredible.

There are times when we remember the events of the previous two movies, and I think there have inserted new scenes, which look like they really belong to them, what a great job.

Actions: Jose Mojica Marins ES Caixao Zé do ... nothing has changed in his personality nor his exaggerated histrionics despite the years. It's perfect. I should also mention Milhem Cortazar as the psychopath Father Eugene.

Reflections: know that was what I liked best of the old Zé do Caixao? that despite all his obsessive self-centeredness, deep down I was afraid. Feared dioxide, and feared to pay for their sins, and the two ends of the two previous films are perfect for that very reason. But here it loses a lot! although in principle it is tormented by ghosts of Teresina and Lena, and his vision of purgatory torments him, the truth is that in the end it is your own fault that ends defeating, as it should happen. There is no longer so much focus on his fear of further and may even feel that the term gain (not interpret this as a spoiler who is not). That makes the character lose some depth.

    • The Good: Zé do Caixao is with us again!

    • Bad: has many holes in the plot.

    • Ugly: OH MIO DIOX GOING TO DO WITH THAT RAT!

    RATING: 7 / 10
