First Check Home Drug Test Faint Pink Line

Trolljegeren

  • Year: 2010

  • Country: Norway

  • Director: Kaare Andrews

  • Format: Creatures

  • Soundtracks Cinema-Veritas

  • Version: DVDRip

  • Synopsis: A group of documentary filmmakers follow a man who claims to be "Trolls Hunter."

Initial Impression: Fun and original film cooling a little exhausted genre of recordings found.

Script and Development: already know the format of memory. Since The Blair Witch Project to The Last Exorcism all have the same format, but what really makes this film special is its subject, one that we are not occurred. Nothing to document paranormal activity and exorcisms, but the hunt for trolls. Yes, trolls, and I do not mean to users of 4chan, but the creatures of legend. These huge and gross things that hide under bridges and turn into stone with the sun (just like in The Hobbit !).

Trolls are the best kept secret of the government, and Hans is the man who gives chase and agree that filming for "want things to change" and get to know these enormous creatures, the lot of them there are, as defeat them, they really are, they eat, and sleep until their period of gestation ... Diox saint! have much information on the troll can easily believe that real after seeing the movie!

The drama is based on the dangers of encounters with these creatures and that's it ... the movie has great moments of exposure and encounters with the creatures, but does not transcend beyond the relations of the characters y sus problemas aunque trata de tocar la superficie de ellos (por ejemplo, cuando se revela la razón por la que Hans no quiere entrar al territorio de caza de los Troll), o SPOILER cuando se revela que los Troll estaban contagiados de rabia y que probablemente contagiaron a uno de los protagonistas FIN DE SPOILER pero no va a ningún lado con esta revelación.

Es una película muy entretenida y con una mitología muy interesante, pero que no trasciende como debería, además, peca de tener muchos de los clichés del cinema-veritas , incluyendo un final muy ambiguo y poco satisfactorio pese a tener una escena maravillosa que seguramente se volverá icónica… and it's a little spoiler on the poster and the trailer for the film.

management and technical aspects: The film looks wonderful. Yes, the camera moves a lot but that is something which I better get used and I focus on the troll look spectacular (really threatening) and the magnificent scenery of the Norwegian mountains, with breathtaking views that really make me give want to leave everything and go there right now.

Actions: are very good, but the show is Hans and resigned attitude toward the hunt hardcore trolls.

Reflections: Here we show that the Cinema-Veritas is really trendy and gives a lot of himself. We know that gender is being heavily exploited at this time, especially independent directors, and hopefully leave more works worthy of being like this.

Two little things, the idea that the Trolls can smell the Christians, really belongs to the mythology? I had not heard before, and someone can explain that last scene with Norwegian Prime Minister?

    • The Good: The effects and action sequences ... but above all, beautiful Nordic scenery.

    • The Bad: Nevertheless, I think the movie and the characters gave more of themselves and were a bit wasted.

    • Ugly: the poster and trailer are huge spoiler.

    SCORE: 7.5/10
